The Same Four Chords

Remember that post I did the other day about having similar books to other writers?  I found this youtube video that puts it another way: tons and tons of AWESOME songs, all sung with the same 4 chords.  Take a gander:



Pretty darn nifty.

Now, which of those songs is now stuck in your head?  I've got Bush's Glycerine stuck in mine.

I know what you mean, liz--sometimes I'll hear a chord or a random series of notes and burst out into song and everything looks at me weird. Or i'll hear the beginning of one some and it'll remind me of another and I just HAVE to track down the remembered song...

I listen to so much soundtrack and instrumental music when I write/read queries/edit that I can tell you the name of the movie you're watch in ten seconds flat. :)
